Who is your Hero?   For the first 13 years of my life, my heroes were my Mother and Father, and in many ways, they are my heroes even now, after all these years.  But as I’ve grown, many other mentors and influencers have impacted my life for the better.

My Aunt and Uncle adopted me and gave me the unique opportunity to have two sets of parents, a second chance few other youth who have lost their parents receive.  For this, and for the love they have shown me every day since, my Aunt and Uncle are definitely two of my heroes.  My pastor, Dr. Anthony T. Evans in Dallas, and a wonderful couple named Mark and Connie, are also heroes of mine, just to name a few.

Take a moment and think back on who has had the greatest influence on your life and why.  If you can't think of anyone, don't give up!  Your heroes have yet to find their way to you, or they may have shown themselves or helped you without your knowledge.  Keep your heart open!
